Week 1 had a pile of injuries -- and then Week 2 said "Hold my beer, Week 1." Week 2 was NUTS in terms of big-time players who went done.
Here are some of the best additions you can make to your squads based on everything we know so far. (I'll stick to players rostered on 60% of Yahoo teams or fewer and also list some other viable pickups who may be available in shallower leagues or relevant only in deeper leagues).
Quarterbacks
Mitchell Trubisky, Chicago Bears
Roster Percentage: 7%
Look, we all know that we've been down this road before with Mitchell Trubisky of the Chicago Bears. I get it.
But after back-to-back wins to start the season, it's difficult to ignore that Trubisky has actually been pretty darn efficient. In Sunday's Week 2 win, Trubisky sported a 0.11 Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per drop back on 28 pass attempts, which is above last year's 0.10 league average.
It's also important to note that Trubisky was sneaky yet again with his legs. He logged 16 rushing yards with a long of 12 for the week.
The Bears travel to face the Atlanta Falcons in Week 3, who just lost a wild shootout with 79 points scored against the Dallas Cowboys. Expect another solid week from the signal-caller.

Gardner Minshew (32%), Derek Carr (17%), Philip Rivers (27%), Nick Mullens (0%)
Running Backs
Tevin Coleman, San Francisco 49ers
Roster Percentage: 53%
Editor's note: Tevin Coleman will miss "multiple weeks" with a knee injury; Jerick McKinnon is rostered on 24% of teams.
With Raheem Mostert exiting due to injury, Tevin Coleman was the back who received the majority of the touches in this backfield, even if he wasn't super efficient with them. He toted the rock 16 times, far higher than Jerick McKinnon's 3, and after leaving briefly with a knee injury, he seemed to be fine.
It will be interesting to see how this offense unfolds with Nick Mullens under center, as Jimmy Garoppolo left due to an ankle injury and could miss time. Regardless, there's a clear path to touches in this offense, and with the porous New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles up next, it could be an opportunity for Coleman to soar.
Darrell Henderson, Los Angeles Rams
Roster Percentage: 31%
While Malcolm Brown was the hot pickup last week, it was Darrell Henderson who led the Los Angeles Rams in touches on Sunday, rushing 12 times for 81 yards and catching 2 for 3 targets for an additional 40. With Cam Akers going down with a rib injury, both Henderson and Brown could see more opportunities in Week 3 against Buffalo.
Jerick McKinnon, San Francisco 49ers
Roster Percentage: 22%
It's been two consecutive weeks with Jerick McKinnon of the San Francisco 49ers finding the end zone, including a very nice 77 rushing yards on 3 catches in Week 2.
Now, fold in an injury to starter Raheem Mostert, and McKinnon becomes a significantly more valuable commodity. While he surprisingly only garnered 1 target this week, and Coleman saw far more work than he did, he's clearly an important part of the offense.
Coleman could already be rostered, so take a gander at McKinnon for some exposure to this backfield.
Dion Lewis, New York Giants
Roster Percentage: 5%
Looking to bounce back from what many considered a subpar fantasy season, Saquon Barkley was cooking with gas -- until a knee injury sidelined him in Week 2, and the fear is a torn ACL for the Penn State alum.
The next man up is veteran Dion Lewis, who rushed the ball 10 times for 20 yards and a score. It wasn't the most efficient day, but keep in mind this has been a highly productive back. In both 2017 and 2018, Lewis total over 900 all-purpose yards in back-to-back seasons.
Sledding could be tough next week against the San Francisco 49ers, but this unit did lose Nick Bosa this week -- and that's followed up by two gashable defenses in the Los Angeles Rams and Dallas Cowboys. Lewis definitely deserves some serious attention.
Others to Consider:
Mike Davis (6%; Christian McCaffrey's ankle injury is expected to keep him out for four to six weeks), Josh Adams (1%), Frank Gore (14%), Wayne Gallman (1%)
Wide Receivers
Keelan Cole, Jacksonville Jaguars
Roster Percentage: 3%
After the first Week 1, it could be easy to guess that Keelan Cole's performance for the Jacksonville Jaguars was simply a fluke. He caught all five of his targets for a score and he was a primary part of the offense with Dede Westbrook out of the action.
Now take a peek at him after Week 2 when he led Jacksonville with seven targets -- he out-targeted D.J. Chark -- and he clearly seems to be getting a large portion of the playing time with Chris Conley and rookie Laviska Shenault.
Fold in a squad that's posted 57 points in two weeks, and it may be a sneaky offense we want parts of.
Isaiah Ford, Miami Dolphins
Roster Percentage: 0%
This may be a name you are unfamiliar with, but can you guess who has 14 targets so far this season for the Miami Dolphins?
Not to play spoiler, but it's Isaiah Ford, if you haven't already guessed. Week 1 was a bit ugly as he only caught 2 passes on 5 targets, but this week was far better with 7 catches for 76 yards on 9 looks. Need more reason to bite? He faces a porous Jaguars secondary in Week 3 that could provide plenty of opportunities to get downfield.
If you are searching for answers at wide receiver, peep Ford.
Adam Humphries, Tennessee Titans
Roster Percentage: 2%
Thanks to a few injuries to the Tennessee Titans, including star A.J. Brown, Adam Humphries was thrust into the slot, and he put up a solid 5 catches on 6 targets and found paydirt. But it's unfair to say that Humphries' production was a one-off. Although he did only see 7 targets once in 2019, he had that many looks in Week 1.
It's fair to be hesitant that the Titans may not be involved in another shootout soon. As we look to next week's lines, FanDuel Sportsbook has the over/under set at 46 points, so it's not a massive target for us. But as long as Humphries continues to be involved -- especially in point-per-reception (PPR) formats -- he's worth a look.
Others to Consider:
Danny Amendola (3%), Preston Williams (35%), Larry Fitzgerald (20%), Michael Pittman Jr. (15%)
Tight Ends
Jordan Reed, San Francisco 49ers
Roster Percentage: 7%
Okay, okay, I get it -- this free agent piece is not just focused on the San Francisco 49ers, but they did endure quite a few injuries that piled up, and we've overlooked the rash that hit the defensive unit.
With George Kittle out due to a knee injury, Jordan Reed performed a damn fine impression of the standout tight end, logging 7 catches for 50 yards and a score. His 8 targets were the best on the team, and he becomes an even more valuable part of this offense if Kittle were to have an extended absence.
O.J. Howard, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Roster Percentage: 30%
When you look into the roster percentage over at Yahoo, Rob Gronkowski is 89% and owns two catches so far this season. If you are looking for the actual productive tight end to roster, O.J. Howard seems to be the player we actually want.
It's fair to be disappointed in Howard's Week 2 performance after he caught a singular pass, but you can't ignore what he did in Week 1, snagging 4 receptions for 36 yards and a score.
He's also got two delicious matchups coming up in the next three weeks. He has a game on tap with the Denver Broncos, and a contest against the Chicago Bears after that. Both are inside the top-10 on the young season in points allowed to fantasy tight ends.
If you need to shore up the position, take a look at Howard.
