3 Fantasy Football Tight End Streamer Options for Week 14
Hunter Henry draws the best matchup for tight ends in the NFL this week. Which other guys can help off of waivers?

The tight end position isn't overflowing with depth. Instead, it's still top-heavy. So, those of you who kicked the can down the road at the position instead of investing in an elite tight end might dabble in the streamer waters. Some of you came out of drafts with the intention of streaming.

No matter the path to this point, those who need help identifying widely available tight ends to help their fantasy squad each week have found the correct spot. This is your weekly home for streaming options. Here are three choices for this week.

Evan Engram, Jacksonville Jaguars

Yahoo! Roster Percentage: 43%

Evan Engram was a successful streamer last week. The former first-round pick had only 30 yards on five receptions. However, Engram had a touchdown. He'll have a more difficult time reaching paydirt this week. Still, he has an enticing profile for streaming.

First, according to Pro Football Focus (PFF), Engram ran the ninth-most routes (107) among tight ends since Week 10, despite the Jacksonville Jaguars' bye in Week 11. So, Engram is on the field and running routes, and that's half the battle.

Second, Jacksonville will probably air it out early and often against the Tennessee Titans. Teams understandably avoid running into the teeth of Tennessee's stout run defense. Instead, they're chucking the pigskin in neutral game scripts.

The matchup is also rock-solid for Engram. According to Football Outsiders, tight ends have averaged the fifth-most receiving yards per game (57.0) against the Titans. And, per Pro Football Reference, tight ends have averaged the 12th-most receptions per game (4.9) against Tennessee. So, Engram's route participation and matchup push him into the streamer mix this week.

Greg Dulcich, Denver Broncos

Yahoo! Roster Percentage: 37%

The Denver Broncos are a tire fire. The Russell Wilson and Nathaniel Hackett experience is a nightmare. Nevertheless, Greg Dulcich is a bright spot for the Broncos.

The rookie tight end began the season on the Injured Reserve. He immediately made his presence felt when he was activated in Week 6. Dulcich had two receptions for 44 yards and a touchdown in his professional debut. He built on his excellent debut by catching 6 passes for 51 yards in Week 7 and hauling in 4 receptions for 87 yards in Week 8. Sadly, the bye in Week 9 slowed his roll.

In the three games that followed Denver's bye in Week 9, he had only seven receptions for 52 scoreless yards. Thankfully, Dulcich popped back onto the radar last week. In Week 13, he had six receptions for 85 yards on eight targets.

The surface stats were stellar. Additionally, his usage within Denver's offense was superb.

Obviously, there's no such thing as a sure thing in the streaming pool at tight end. Therefore, rolling the dice on an exciting young player who has demonstrated fantasy usefulness is about as good as it gets.

Hunter Henry, New England Patriots

Yahoo! Roster Percentage: 35%

Hunter Henry is almost entirely a matchup-driven streamer.

The Arizona Cardinals have the Triple Crown for futility when attempting to defend tight ends. Tight ends have averaged the most receiving yards per game (68.7), the most receptions per game (6.9), and scored the most receiving touchdowns (nine) against the Cards.

Unfortunately, Henry is available in so many leagues for a good reason. He has career lows for receptions per game (2.1) and receiving yards per game (28.0) this year and has scored just two touchdowns. However, it's not all doom and gloom. Henry is clearly on top of the depth chart at tight end for the New England Patriots. In New England's previous four games, Henry has run 108 routes, and Jonnu Smith has run only 42.

Finally, the game's betting info provides optimism for chasing a touchdown with Henry. According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Patriots are 1.5-point favorites, and the game's total is 44.5 points, leaving them with a decent implied total of 23.0 points.
