Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray is hoping to get the team's passing game in rhythm and in sync as the season moves into Week 5.
Speaking to reporters on Monday about the Cardinals struggles on offense, Kliff Kingsbury said "Murray is one of the more accurate passers I've ever been around. We just got to get that rhythm down and offensively just play more consistent; all of us, coaches and players, and Kyler understands that". Through four games, Murray boasts the 13th-highest completion percentage in the league (68.8) but his yards per attempt of 6.4 ranks 27th, tied with Washington's Dwayne Haskins. The addition of megastar DeAndre Hopkins was supposed to add a more consistent vertical element to the Cardinals' air raid, but so far that hasn't come to fruition. Hopkins leads the NFL in receptions (39) but ranks 86th (minimum 9 targets) in yards per reception (10.2). Murray and the Cardinals will have an excellent chance to get in sync against the New York Jets in Week 5.
Murry is the QB7 in numberFire's weekly fantasy rankings, and his salary is $8,300. His projection includes 257.2 passing yards, 1.91 passing touchdowns, 0.8 interceptions, 30.0 rushing yards, and 21.7 FanDuel points. The Cardinals are 7.0-point favorites over the Jets, and their implied team total of 27.0 points is the 8th-highest on Sunday's main slate, according to numberFire's DFS Heat Map.
