The Cincinnati Bengals placed quarterback Joe Burrow (knee) on season-ending injured reserve.
Burrow suffered a torn MCL and ACL during the Bengals' loss to the Washington Football Team on Sunday. Ryan Finley will take over as the starting quarterback in Week 12 against the New York Giants. He completed 3-of-10 passes for 30 yards and an interception in relief on Sunday. Burrow's injury is a severe downgrade for the entire Bengals' offense, though Tyler Boyd did have over 60 yards in two of Finley's three starts last season.
Finley averaged 158.0 yards per game and 5.4 per attempt in three starts for the Bengals last season. Burrow is attempting the second-most pass attempts per game (40.4) behind Dak Prescott in 2020, but Finley is unlikely to sustain that sort of volume for Cincinnati's receivers.
