Detroit Lions running back D'Andre Swift has been having an up-and-down recovery from his concussion, per interim head coach Darrell Bevell.
Bevell said Swift continues to progress and he's optimistic the rookie will be cleared for Sunday's Week 13 game against the Chicago Bears, but it hasn't been the smoothest recovery. The Lions have used a backfield committee of Kerryon Johnson and Adrian Peterson over the past two games without Swift.
The Bears are allowing the ninth-fewest FanDuel points per game to the running back position this season. Swift saw at least 18 opportunities in each of his last two games and three of his last five.
