Houston Texans quarterback Tyrod Taylor is considered week-to-week with a wrist injury he suffered in Week 13 against the Indianapolis Colts, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Taylor is undergoing tests Monday to determine the extent of the injury, but he may wind up being done for the rest of the season. Rapoport said Davis Mills is expected to start in Week 14 against the Seattle Seahawks, which is mostly a lateral move for Brandin Cooks and the Texans' receivers. Taylor completed 5-of-13 passes for 45 yards and an interception on Sunday before leaving.
Tyrod is averaging negative-0.05 and Mills is averaging negative-0.12 Passing Net Expected Points per play this season, which both rank in the bottom-five among quarterbacks with at least 100 attempts this season. The Texans are facing a Seahawks team in Week 14 that is allowing the eighth-fewest FanDuel points per game to the quarterback position this season.
