The Arizona Cardinals did not elevate running back Chase Edmonds (ankle) from the injured reserve ahead of their Week 14 game against the Los Angeles Rams.
There was some hope that Edmonds would be able to play in tonight's game against the Rams, but the Cardinals have shown patience in bringing players back from injury this season and will sit Edmonds out for another week. Edmonds returned to practice earlier this week, meaning the window for his promotion to the active roster is down to two more weeks.
James Conner has taken over the Cardinals' backfield in Edmonds' absence, thriving on the goal line and earning a significant amount of work in the passing game. Conner is projected to score 11.3 fantasy points tonight against the Rams.
