Jags' James O'Shaughnessy (hip) out for Week 18
The Jacksonville Jaguars have ruled out tight end James O'Shaughnessy (hip) for their Week 18 game against the Indianapolis Colts.
O'Shaughnessy played a surprisingly significant role in the Jaguars' offense this season whenever he was healthy, but was available for just seven games over the course of the season. Between O'Shaughnessy and teammate Dan Arnold, rookie quarterback Trevor Lawrence leaned heavily on his tight ends this season, which may be worth keeping in mind as we head into the 2022 season.
O'Shaughnessy averaged a career-best 34.9 receiving yards per game this season, nearly reaching his 2020 receiving yardage total (262 yards) in 6 fewer games. He'll look to build on that connection with Lawrence if he stays in Jacksonville next season.
