Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury told reporters that running back James Conner (ribs) is "okay" and that the team is being cautious with their lead running back.
"We're checking everything out. It's something in the rib area and they're just being very cautious with him right now," Kingsbury told ESPN's Josh Weinfuss. Conner was reportedly already dealing with a rib issue before aggravating the injury in Week 5, so his status will be worth monitoring as we approach Week 6.
Conner has operated as the Cardinals' lead back again this season, but has ceded work to his backups when he has been dinged up. Darrel Williams (knee) also potentially injured, the backfield could fall to Eno Benjamin in Week 6.
