Carolina Panthers running back D'Onta Foreman will form a backfield committee with Chuba Hubbard and Raheem Blackshear, per interim head coach Steve Wilks.
Wilks said the Panthers will use a committee approach and then ride the hot hand. Foreman is the favorite to work as the early-down back while Hubbard figures to be the preferred option in passing situations. Blackshear has only contributed on special teams so far, but the Panthers might mix the undrafted rookie free agent in here and there. This is an offense to try and stay away from in Week 7 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
numberFire's models project Foreman for 10.7 touches and 49.7 yards while Hubbard is projected for 8.9 touches and 42.3 yards. The Buccaneers are allowing the fewest FanDuel points per game to the running back position this season and they have the No. 13 run defense in our schedule-adjusted metrics.
