Denver Broncos running back Latavius Murray (foot) is not practicing on Thursday, per head coach Nathaniel Hackett.
Hackett indicated that the Broncos are being precautionary with Murray and a few other players on Thursday because they are practicing on indoor turf. Marlon Mack and possibly Chase Edmonds (ankle) stand to benefit if Murray were to miss Sunday's Week 16 game against the Los Angeles Rams. The Broncos designated Edmonds to return from injured reserve on Wednesday.
numberFire's models project Murray for 19.3 touches and 86.0 yards in Week 16. He has a $7,200 salary on Sunday's three-game slate and is our second-highest projected running back at 13.1 FanDuel points. The Rams have the No. 13 run defense in numberFire's adjusted team rankings, compared to the No. 25 pass defense.
