New York Jets running back Zonovan Knight (ankle) will play Week 16 against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday night.
Knight injured his ankle in the Jets' Week 15 loss to the Detroit Lions, but he is ready to roll on the short week. The undrafted rookie is expected to lead the backfield ahead of Michael Carter. After averaging 5.3 yards per touch in his first three games, Knight only mustered 23 yards on 13 carries versus the Lions before exiting early.
Knight is numberFire's highest-projected scorer on Thursday night at 13.4 FanDuel points, with 21.4 opportunities for 93.2 yards. Per our advanced efficiency metrics, the Jags have the No. 6 run defense and No. 29 pass defense in the NFL, so the backfield may have a tougher time than the passing game.
