Tennessee Titans rookie running back Hassan Haskins is "in line for a big role" on Thursday night against the Dallas Cowboys.
Derrick Henry (hip) is expected to sit out Thursday, setting up Haskins as the Titans' lead back. The fourth-round pick has just 11 carries this season, so it's a solid opportunity for Haskins to show off his skills, but it's not an ideal game script against a tough Cowboys defense. Per numberFire's NFL Heat Map, the Titans are 12.5-point underdogs and they only have a 13.5-point implied total. Julius Chestnut is next on the depth chart behind Haskins.
numberFire's models project Haskins ($6,000 on FanDuel's single-game slate) for 13.3 carries, 2.0 receptions, and 72.1 yards from scrimmage. The Cowboys have the No. 5 rush defense and No. 4 overall defense in our season-long adjusted rankings.
