Arizona Cardinals wideout Larry Fitzgerald has "no idea" if 2016 will be his final season.
Fitzgerald has previously admitted this could be his final campaign, but he was more coy on Tuesday. "Honestly, I have no idea," Fitz said. "I really don't look at it like that." Fitz averaged a career low 11.1 yards per reception last season, but it was largely by design. He worked underneath, with Michael Floyd and John Brown doing damage downfield. Fitzgerald was far less productive with Floyd at full health, but he still hauled in 109 passes for 1,215 yards and nine scores.
On a per-target basis, Fitzgerald was the least effective receiver in 2015 among Arizona's three starting wideouts. Among wide receivers with at least 80 targets, Fitzgerald ended 2015 ranked 33rd in Reception Net Expected Points per target while Brown (eighth) and Floyd (sixth) both ranked inside the top 10.
