Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports that wide receiver Parris Campbell could be the "Richie James corollary" for the New York Giants in 2023.
Duggan noted that Campbell was a target-magnet during any scrimmages and drills, following a similar path to the one former Giant Richie James turned into a sizeable role in the team's 2022 offense. Campbell was the beneficiary of several designed looks in practices with teammates like Sterling Shepard (knee) and Wan'Dale Robinson (knee) sidelined, and it's not too crazy to think the former Colts receiver could be one of the Giants' most productive players in 2023.
Campbell entered the league as a second-round pick after his extremely productive collegiate career, but dealt with a slew of injuries as he played out his rookie contract in Indianapolis. The Giants signed Campbell to a contract earlier this offseason following his best season as a pro, which yielded 63 catches for 623 yards and 3 touchdowns.
