Buffalo Bills tight end Dawson Knox called new teammate Dalton Kincaid an "incredible offensive weapon" after the team's summer minicamps.
Knox, who has operated as the team's primary receiving tight end over the past few seasons, expressed excitement about the arrival of 2023 first round pick Dalton Kincaid, who he hopes will help open up mismatches for the team's tight ends in the passing game this season. Buffalo News' Mark Gaughan also added that based on the team's spring practices, it looks like Kincaid will "e given every chance to contribute right away." The former Utah tight end was one of the most impressive pass-catchers in college football during the 2022 season and has already been active in offseason practices despite the back injury that kept him out of most of the pre-draft process.
Rookie tight ends don't usually fare well in fantasy football during their first seasons in the league, but not many rookie tight ends get to play with Josh Allen in one of the league's best passing offenses. Our models have Kincaid projected for a finish as the TE13 in fantasy this season, right in front of teammate Dawson Knox at TE14.
