New York Jets running back Breece Hall (ACL) will return to practice on Tuesday.
The Jets reinstated Hall from the active/PUP list Tuesday, clearing the way for his first practice since he tore his ACL in October of his rookie season. Hall will be limited at first, but barring a setback, he should be ready for Week 1 against the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football. However, with the Jets adding Dalvin Cook to the backfield on Monday night, Hall might be in a split backfield to start the season. Cook isn't expected to start practicing with the Jets until next week due to a shoulder injury, so Michael Carter and Zonovan Knight will take reps behind Hall in the meantime.
Hall is the RB25 and Cook is the RB31 in numberFire's preseason rankings, . Our models project Hall for 211.4 carries, 982.1 rushing yards, 47.2 targets, 34.7 receptions, 256.8 receiving yards, and 7.89 touchdowns. Cook is projected for 175.4 carries, 804.0 rushing yards, 38.9 targets, 28.9 receptions, 191.4 receiving yards, and 5.92 touchdowns.
