The Las Vegas Raiders are reportedly refusing to listen to trade offers for running back Josh Jacobs, according to Tashan Reed of The Athletic.
Jacobs in the midst of a holdout after receiving the franchise tag during the offseason; the team hasn't yet offered him a long-term deal he finds sufficient. With just over two weeks remaining until the Raiders' Week 1 game, Jacobs' leverage is dwindling by the day. Until the 2022 All-Pro reports - if he ever will - Zamir White will lead the backfield with Ameer Abdullah and Brandon Bolden rounding out the group.
In the last year of his rookie deal, Jacobs showed out, taking a combined 393 touches for 2,053 all-purpose yards (leading the league) and 12 touchdowns. numberFire currently projects Jacobs for 1,317.1 rushing yards and 10.6 touchdowns to go along with 35.3 catches on 49.0 targets for 228.9 yards and 1.7 scores.
