The New England Patriots traded running back Pierre Strong Jr. to the Cleveland Browns for OT Tyrone Wheatley Jr.
The Patriots' preseason games made clear their need for extra help on the offensive line, while the Browns had a need at running back behind Nick Chubb following Jerome Ford's recent injury. Both teams benefit from the trade here, with Strong Jr. now having interesting upside in fantasy football as Chubb's potential backup.
Strong Jr. didn't see much action behind Rhamondre Stevenson as a rookie in 2022, but did play efficiently when given the chance. He rushed for 100 yards on 10 total carries while catching all 7 of his targets for 42 additional yards as a rookie.
