New York Jets wide receiver Allen Lazard (shoulder) will practice on Tuesday, per head coach Robert Saleh.
Lazard is set to return to practice for the first time since leaving early last Wednesday with an AC joint injury in his shoulder. The 27-year-old is expected to be the No. 2 target for Aaron Rodgers in the Jets' revamped offense, ahead of fellow newcomers Mecole Hardman and Randall Cobb.
numberFire's models project Lazard for 99.2 targets, 62.2 receptions, 762.2 yards, and 5.44 touchdowns this season. He's currently the WR42 in our preseason rankings. We project Garrett Wilson to lead the Jets with 148.7 targets while Hardman is third (68.9) and Cobb is fourth (41.3).
