Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow "looked good" in his return to practice on Wednesday, per head coach Zac Taylor.
Burrow practiced on Wednesday for the first time since injuring his calf on July 27. He is believed to be on track for Week 1 against the Cleveland Browns, but the Bengals are expected to err on the extreme side of caution with their franchise quarterback. When Burrow is at full strength, the Bengals have one of the most potent offenses in the entire NFL. Jake Browning and recently-signed Will Grier are the other two quarterbacks on the roster behind Burrow.
Burrow is the QB5 in numberFire's preseason rankings. Our models project him for 4,630.6 passing yards at a 67.0% completion rate, with 33.84 touchdowns and 13.2 interceptions. He's also projected for 61.1 carries, 257.6 rushing yards, and 2.54 touchdowns.
