Browns' Deshaun Watson dealt with cramping in subpar Week 1 outing

Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson attributed his poor Week 1 play to cramping in addition to the severe weather conditions that day.

What It Means:

Speaking via live stream with quarterbacks coach Quincy Avery, Watson said "I had full body cramps [in Week 1]. My arm was locking up and my calf was locking up. It was my first full game." Watson was able to put up better numbers than Joe Burrow in their matchup as the Browns took down the Bengals, but still mustered just 5.3 yards per attempt. Head coach Kevin Stefanksi did back up Watson's claims about cramping, but the franchise will be expecting much better production from Watson going forward.

Watson is numberFire's QB14 for Week 2 and has a $7,900 salary on FanDuel. Our models project him to score 17.2 fantasy points against the Pittsburgh Steelers, with 215.8 passing yards, 1.3 touchdowns, and 31 rushing yards.
