Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown is uncertain for Week 5 against the Carolina Panthers due to an unspecified injury, per head coach Dan Campbell.
St. Brown sat out practice on Tuesday, but he was reportedly running at full speed with trainers on the side. He presumably suffered the injury in the Lions' win over the Green Bay Packers last Thursday, but there will be more clarity when the team releases their first official injury report for Week 5 on Wednesday. If St. Brown were to sit out Sunday, it would open up a plethora of targets for everyone on offense.
ARSB is the WR6 in numberFire's Week 5 PPR rankings and our models project him for 14.4 FanDuel points, with 9.3 targets, 6.3 receptions, and 78.1 yards. The Panthers are allowing the fifth-fewest FanDuel points per game to receivers because they've been getting gashed on the ground, but their pass defense is 19th in our schedule-adjusted NEP model.
