New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley (ankle) will be "ramped up" in practice on Wednesday, per head coach Brian Daboll.
Barkley practiced on a limited basis each day last week before being ruled out for a third straight contest. He will hopefully be upgraded to full for Week 6 and play in Sunday night's game against the Buffalo Bills. Matt Breida will return to backup duty if Barkley is cleared to play.
Saquon is the RB13 in numberFire's Week 6 rankings and our models project him for 13.9 FanDuel points, with 16.8 carries, 72.2 rushing yards, 3.4 receptions, and 19.7 receiving yards. The Bills are allowing the ninth-most FanDuel points per game to running backs this season and their run defense ranks 22nd, according to our opponent-adjusted NEP model.
