Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce (ankle) is expected to play on Thursday night against the Denver Broncos in Week 6, reports Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
Kelce suffered a low-ankle sprain in Week 5 against the Minnesota Vikings, but he returned to the game and finished with 10 catches on 11 targets for 67 yards and a touchdown. Despite the short turnaround on Thursday night, Kelce should be good to go for the Chiefs' divisional matchup.
The Broncos are allowing the sixth-most FanDuel points per game to tight ends this season and they have the worst pass defense in the NFL, per numberFire's opponent-adjusted NEP model. Kelce is averaging 13.4 FanDuel points over four games, with 9.3 targets, 6.8 receptions, 55.5 yards, and 3 total touchdowns. He leads the Chiefs with a 25.7% target share and is second with a 23.3% air yards share. Kelce is also pacing the team in both red zone target share (29.6%) and end zone target share (50.0%).
