Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku (face/hand) is not practicing again on Thursday for Week 6 against the San Francisco 49ers.
Njoku burned his face and hand in a home accident on September 29. He played a couple days later and set season-highs in catches (6) and targets (7), so Njoku should have a decent chance to suit up on Sunday. Harrison Bryant will play a larger role if Njoku is limited or out versus the 49ers. However, the entire Cleveland offense will need to be downgraded if Deshaun Watson (shoulder) is unavailable.
Njoku is the TE27 in numberFire's Week 6 rankings and our models project him for 4.8 FanDuel points, with 4.6 targets, 2.9 receptions, and 27.1 yards. The 49ers are allowing the seventh-fewest FanDuel points per game to opposing tight ends this season and their pass defense ranks eighth in numberFire's opponent-adjusted NEP model.
