Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins (rib) said it’s looking “promising” for him to play Week 6 against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.
Higgins sat out last game with a rib injury he suffered in Week 4, but it looks like he will return before the Bengals head into their bye. Higgins will slide back in as the second receiver behind Ja'Marr Chase and ahead of Tyler Boyd. Trenton Irwin and Andrei Iosivas will also revert to smaller roles. Higgins should be more efficient moving forward as Joe Burrow continues to get closer to full strength.
The Seahawks are allowing the third-most FanDuel points per game to opposing wideouts this season and their pass defense ranks 25th in numberFire's opponent-adjusted NEP model. Higgins was targeted 28 times over the first three games, but he only caught 10 and had a goose egg in Week 1.
