Detroit Lions running back David Montgomery will not return Sunday in the team's Week 6 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Montgomery's X-rays came back negative. However, the team is exercising caution and keeping him out for the rest of the afternoon due to the ribs injury. Craig Reynolds and Kalif Raymond will handle the backfield work.
Before exiting, Montgomery had 6 carries for 13 yards. He also had 1 target, catching it for 19 yards. He finished with 3.8 FanDuel points.
