Los Angeles Rams running back Ronnie Rivers has a Grade 3 PCL sprain and will miss 4-5 weeks, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Rivers suffered the injury in Week 6 and will likely be placed on injured reserve. Kyren Williams sprained his ankle on Sunday and is likely out for Week 7 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, setting up sixth-round rookie Zach Evans as the Rams' lead back. Royce Freeman will likely be promoted from the practice squad to back up Evans on Sunday.
Rivers ran the ball or drew a target on all four of his snaps Sunday before injuring his knee. Evans logged six snaps on offense and rushed 4 times for 10 yards. He will face a Steelers defense in Week 7 that allows the eighth-most FanDuel points per game to running backs this season.
