San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey (oblique) is not dealing with a long-term injury, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
McCaffrey's oblique injury, which forced him to exit Week 6's game early, is not considered a long-term injury. He reportedly has a chance to be ready for Monday's game against the Minnesota Vikings, but his status will depend on his practice participation this week. The 49ers will release their first official practice report for Week 7 on Thursday. If McCaffrey is unable to face Minnesota, Elijah Mitchell and Jordan Mason would be next in line for carries in San Francisco's backfield.
The 49ers are 6.5-point favorites over the Vikings in Week 7. Their implied team total of 25.25 points is the fourth-highest team total on the Thu-Mon' slate, according to numberFire's DFS Heat Map.
