Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields (thumb) did not practice again on Thursday for Week 7 against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Fields hasn't practiced this week and he remains doubtful for Sunday's home game. Bears head coach Matt Eberflus previously said Fields' status is dependent on his grip strength, so it's unclear how long the team expects to be without their starting quarterback. Tyson Bagent replaced Fields on Sunday and struggled in his NFL debut, so the Bears may roll with veteran Nathan Peterman at quarterback instead. D.J. Moore and the entire offense needs to be downgraded for Week 7.
Bagent lost a fumble that was returned for a touchdown on his very first snap and he finished with 10 of 14 pass attempts for 83 yards with no touchdowns and an interception. The Raiders are allowing the 12th-fewest FanDuel points per game to quarterbacks and the 10th-fewest to wide receivers this season. Bagent has a $6,300 salary in Week 7 and numberFire's models project him for 11.0 FanDuel points.
