San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey (oblique) did not practice on Thursday ahead of Week 7's game against the Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night Football.
McCaffrey opened the week with a missed practice due to an oblique injury that forced him to exit Week 6's game early. Kyle Shanahan said McCaffrey's MRI was "encouraging". He is considered day-to-day and is not expected to be dealing with a long-term injury. That said, his status for Week 7 is still uncertain. Friday's practice report will provide more information. If McCaffrey is ruled out, Jordan Mason and Elijah Mitchell are expected to see more touches against Minnesota.
The 49ers are 7.0-point favorites over the Vikings in Week 7. Their implied team total of 25.50 points is the fourth-highest team total on the Thu-Mon' slate, according to numberFire's DFS Heat Map.
