Buffalo Bills running back Damien Harris (neck/concussion) will not play Week 7 against the New England Patriots on Sunday, per head coach Sean McDermott.
Harris is in the NFL's concussion protocol and also dealing with a neck sprain. James Cook and Latavius Murray will share most of the backfield work on Sunday with Harris inactive.
Harris only played between 9-14 snaps and averaged 4.8 touches in his five healthy games this season. Cook rushed 14 times for 71 yards in Week 6 while Murray rushed 12 times for 45 yards. They logged 30 snaps each on offense and didn't draw a target. The Patriots are No. 19 in FanDuel points allowed per game to running backs, but their run defense is No. 6 based on numberFire’s opponent-adjusted NEP model.
