ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that star running back Christian McCaffrey (oblique) will play in the team's Week 7 game against the Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night Football.
McCaffrey was forced to exit the 49ers' Week 7 loss early due to an oblique injury, but the star running back was able to get in a limited practice session on Saturday and is reportedly feeling "great" heading into Monday Night Football. McCaffrey handles one of the heaviest workloads in the league when he's healthy, but there's some chance the team limits his workload depending on his reaction to taking live hits for the first time since suffering his injury.
McCaffrey is currently projected for 18.8 fantasy points against the Vikings, with 76.3 rushing yards, 36.7 receiving yards, and 0.9 touchdowns from scrimmage. The star has scored a touchdown in 15 straight games and will look to keep his insane streak going tonight.
