Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Will Levis is preparing to start Week 8 against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Ryan Tannehill (ankle) is likely out and Levis is expected to make the start over Malik Willis. Titans head coach Mike Vrabel said both Levis and Willis will play if Tannehill is out, but according to Rapoport, the rookie will be the primary quarterback on Sunday. Levis has been a healthy scratch all year and he missed two preseason games due to a thigh injury. That makes him a hard sell as a streamer in a week without any byes, but Levis shouldn't be a downgrade for No. 1 receiver DeAndre Hopkins.
The Falcons have the 20th-ranked adjusted pass defense in the NFL, according to numberFire’s metrics, and they are 16th in FanDuel points allowed per game to quarterbacks. Our models currently project Hopkins for 8.3 targets, 4.9 receptions, and 54.3 yards in Week 8.
