Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill (ankle) is not practicing on Thursday for Week 8 against the Atlanta Falcons.
Tannehill injured his ankle in Week 6 versus the Baltimore Ravens and he's not expected to play in Sunday's matchup with the Falcons. Titans head coach Mike Vrabel said rookie Will Levis and Malik Willis will both play on Sunday if Tannehill is out, but Levis is expected to start and be the primary quarterback.
The Titans have the fourth-worst adjusted pass offense in the NFL, according to numberFire’s metrics, so Tannehill's injury may not be a downgrade for DeAndre Hopkins and the offense. The Falcons' pass defense is 20th in our adjusted rankings, but they allow the sixth-fewest FanDuel points per game to wide receivers. Our models currently project Hopkins for 8.4 targets, 5.0 receptions, and 55.3 yards in Week 8.
