San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy (concussion) practiced on Thursday ahead of Week 8's game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Purdy was back at practice one day after entering the league's concussion protocol. His presence at practice, combined with reports that he is "making progress" through protocol is a good sign. That said, Purdy being active in Week 8 is still likely a longshot. Purdy still has two days to clear protocol ahead of Sunday's clash with the Bengals. If Purdy is ruled out, Sam Darnold will be under center for the 49ers.
Darnold's Week 8 projection includes 201.3 passing yards, 1.17 touchdowns, 0.93 interceptions, and 14.1 FanDuel points. His salary is $6,100.
