New England Patriots wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster (concussion) was not listed on the team's injury report ahead of Week 8 and practiced in full on Thursday.
Smith-Schuster had missed the Patriots' previous two games while recovering from a concussion, but was able to log a full practice on Thursday without an injury designation, implying he has cleared the concussion protocols. The team's offense began to take a new shape in Smith-Schuster's absence, focusing on quick throws to underneath targets. Those targets went to Kendrick Bourne and Demario Douglas over the last two weeks, but the shift in offensive structure could bode well for Smith-Schuster going forward.
Smith-Schuster has been dealing with injuries since joining New England and hasn't been able to produce the kind of receiving numbers that fantasy managers appreciate so far this season; he's caught 14 of his 25 targets for 86 scoreless yards. Hopefully his time away from the field enabled him to get back to full health.
