The Tampa Bay Buccaneers did not include running back Sean Tucker (healthy) on their active roster for their Week 8 game against the Buffalo Bills.
Tucker has been partially involved in Tampa Bay's backfield rotation at points this season, but had fallen out of favor after a slow start to the season. His first healthy scratch of the season coincides with the return of Chase Edmonds (knee), which could be a positive sign for Edmonds' health going forward.
The Bucs have been looking for an effective lightning to Rachaad White's thunder in their backfield this season, but with little success. There's a chance Edmonds has the skillset the team is looking for (and did not find with Tucker), making Edmonds worth a stash on running-back-needy fantasy teams. Our models project Edmonds for 4.6 fantasy points against the Bills tonight.
