New York Giants tight end Darren Waller (hamstring) is questionable for Week 8 against the New York Jets on Sunday.
Waller practiced on a limited basis all week, but he dealt with a hamstring issue in the beginning of the season and his offensive snap rate trickled down last week, so his status shouldn't be taken for granted. Despite the reduced snaps in Week 7, Waller scored his first touchdown of the season and caught 7 passes on 8 targets for a season-high 98 yards. Daniel Bellinger will play a larger role if Waller is out or limited.
Waller ($6,400) is the TE6 in numberFire's Week 8 PPR rankings and our models project him for 8.4 FanDuel points, with 6.5 targets, 4.3 receptions, and 50.8 yards. The Jets' pass defense is No. 8 in numberFire's adjusted NEP rankings, but they are allowing the most FanDuel points per game to tight ends this season.
