San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy (concussion) is participating in Friday's practice.
Purdy practiced on Friday for the second time this week after being placed in the NFL's concussion protocol on Wednesday. According to Matt Barrows of The Athletic, Purdy is "on pace to be cleared from the concussion program tomorrow". The 49ers will provide Purdy's official injury designation later today. For now, it appears that Purdy has a legitimate shot to clear protocol, just days after being placed in it, and be under center for Week 8's game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
The 49ers are 4.5-point favorites over the Bengals in Week 8. Their implied team total of 24.0 points is the sixth-highest team total on Sunday's main slate, according to numberFire's DFS Heat Map.
