Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo will start Monday in the team's Weke 8 game against the Detroit Lions.
That's what head coach Josh McDaniels told reporters Saturday afternoon. Garoppolo missed the last game and a half due to a back injury, but it seems as though the veteran is fully cleared and ready to return to the field. Brian Hoyer will likely serve as the backup, with Aidan O'Connell serving as the third-string signal-caller.
Our models project Garoppolo for 262.4 passing yards, 1.3 touchdowns, 0.9 interceptions, 8.2 rushing yards and 15.8 FanDuel points.
