New York Giants tight end Darren Waller (hamstring) expects to miss "weeks" with an injury he suffered in Week 8.
Waller was forced to exit Week 8's game with a hamstring injury and was unable to return. His outlook for Week 9 was always uncertain, but now it appears that he could miss additional time beyond that. Asked about his injury, Waller said "The amount of weeks I’m not sure, but it may take a little bit.” He also added that last season, when he missed time with a hamstring injury, the main problem was that he kept coming back too soon. As it stands, expect Waller to miss at least Week 9 and possibly multiple weeks beyond that.
The Giants are 2.5-point underdogs against the Raiders in Week 9. Their implied team total of 17.50 points is the fourth-lowest team total on Sunday's main slate, according to numberFire's DFS Heat Map. Waller's Week 9 salary is $6,400.
