Baltimore Ravens running back Gus Edwards (toe) returned to practice on Thursday for Week 9 against the Seattle Seahawks.
The Ravens gave Edwards a rest day on Wednesday after he set season-highs last week, with 19 rushes for 80 yards and 3 touchdowns. His return on Thursday indicates Edwards will be able to lead Baltimore's backfield again on Sunday. Justice Hill will take on more work if Edwards is limited or out.
Edwards is the RB12 in numberFire's Week 9 rankings and our models project him for 12.1 FanDuel points, with 16.4 carries, 77.2 rushing yards, 0.9 receptions, and 6.8 receiving yards. The Seahawks are ranked 17th in FanDuel points allowed per game to running backs and their run defense is 14th in numberFire's opponent-adjusted NEP rankings.
