Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams (ankle) is expected to return Week 12 against the Arizona Cardinals, per head coach Sean McVay.
Week 12 is the first time Williams will be eligible to return from injured reserve. Darrell Henderson and Royce Freeman will likely split backfield work again in Week 11 versus the Seattle Seahawks, after the Rams get back from their bye. Williams is expected to return to a workhorse role when he's cleared.
Henderson out-snapped Freeman 34-24 in Week 9, but they both finished with 12 touches for similar minimal yardage. Among the 45 backs with at least 50 carries this season, Williams is averaging the second-most Rushing Net Expected Points per carry (0.18). He's the only Rams player with a positive Rushing NEP average.
