Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Josh Downs (knee) did not practice on Wednesday for Week 10 against the New England Patriots.
Downs exited last Sunday's game with a knee injury after playing only 12 snaps. If he misses the Colts' Week 10 matchup in Germany, there could be more work available for Isaiah McKenzie and Alec Pierce. Downs' absence would also likely result in more targets for Michael Pittman Jr.
Downs is averaging 9.9 FanDuel points in his eight healthy games this season, with 7.0 targets, 5.0 receptions, and 59.1 yards. The Patriots are allowing the seventh-most FanDuel points to wide receivers this season and they have the fifth-worst pass defense in the league, according to numberFire's opponent-adjusted rankings.
