Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Josh Downs (knee) did not practice on Thursday for Week 10 against the New England Patriots.
Downs was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's practice estimate, so the rookie wideout is trending toward missing his first game. Michael Pittman Jr. could see an uptick in targets if Downs is inactive and there would be more opportunities for Isaiah McKenzie and Alec Pierce.
Downs is averaging 9.9 FanDuel points in his eight healthy games this season, with 7.0 targets, 5.0 receptions, and 59.1 yards. The Patriots are allowing the seventh-most FanDuel points to wide receivers this season and they have the fifth-worst pass defense in the league, according to numberFire's opponent-adjusted rankings.
