Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins (hamstring) is not expected to play against the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday in Week 11, reports Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Higgins was listed as a non-participant on Monday's practice estimate and Bengals head coach Zac Taylor acknowledged it will be "tough" to play on a short week. It would be a second straight absence after Higgins missed Sunday's 30-27, Week 10 loss to the Houston Texans. Tyler Boyd led the Bengals in catches (8) and targets (12) while turning in his first 100-yard game of the season. Trenton Irwin saw an uptick in snaps and scored a touchdown on 4 targets. Boyd and Irwin should benefit again on Thursday if Higgins is unable to play. Bengals wideout Andrei Iosivas (knee) was also estimated as a non-participant on Monday.
The Ravens are allowing the sixth-fewest FanDuel points per game to wide receivers while the Texans are allowing the 12th-fewest, so the Bengals' receivers will have a tougher matchup in Week 11. Higgins is averaging an inconsistent 7.3 targets per game this season and a middling 1.37 yards per route run.
