Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams (ankle) will be on a snap count in Week 12 against the Arizona Cardinals, per head coach Sean McVay.
Williams is returning from injured reserve and a five-week absence on Sunday. "We definitely want to mindful of taking some snaps off him," McVay said. Williams averaged 18.3 touches before injuring his ankle in Week 6, but the Rams are going to reel him back for at least one game. Royce Freeman is expected to be the primary backup behind Williams.
Williams is the RB11 in numberFire's Week 12 rankings and our models project him for 14.1 FanDuel points, with 17.8 carries, 75.9 rushing yards, 2.0 receptions, and 15.1 receiving yards. The Cardinals are allowing the third-most FanDuel points per game to running backs this season.
