Dallas Cowboys running back Rico Dowdle (ankle) was limited at practice on Monday for Week 13 against the Seattle Seahawks.
Dowdle scored a touchdown on Thanksgiving, but his ankle injury limited him to just nine offensive snaps. The Cowboys could keep Dowdle on a snap count again Thursday night versus the Seahawks if he remains hobbled. Tony Pollard was the only other Dallas running back to touch the ball in Week 12. He played 76 percent of the offensive snaps and gained 103 yards on 19 touches.
The Seahawks are allowing the fourth-most FanDuel points per game to opposing running backs this season and the Cowboys are expected to be in a positive game script. If Dowdle can overcome his ankle issue by Thursday night, he will be set up for an expanded workload in a plus matchup.
